In November 2019, it was announced that award-winning singer Kelly Khumalo would be getting her own reality show with it set to debut in April 2020. No most fans have wondered what happened to the controversial singer’s reality show, which was announced at the DStv Showcase in Sandton when the platform announced it’s local and international content for 2020.
Titled with Life with Kelly and viewers behind the scenes of all the headlines and show that there is more to the Asina Muva hitmaker than headlines. Kelly’s reality show has been put on ice due to the Coronavirus… Damm Rona ruining everything.
During her interview with Afternoon Express, Kelly explained how the rona had affected several of her plans. It’s just been crazy. To begin with, we had to cancel a lot of plans … we had an album that was supposed to come out during this month, we had just released a Kelly Khumalo gin and we were shooting a reality show so we had to put a pause to all of that.”
Kelly during the interview also addressed her deteriorating relationship with her sister Zandie Khumalo. Earlier this year Kelly’s sister Zandie shocked the public when she announced she was divorcing the star in an explosive statement on social media.
The personality also commented on that viral video of her crying and telling fans that she had been summoned to tell them to pray. She says it was an out of body experience.
