Emtee released his hot new single, Johustleburg yesterday. The single had to compete with other new releases on the day, and failed to make the trends list. It is clear that it is never over until the fat lady sings, or in this case, newly elected Black Twitter Chief-In-Command (CIC), Umalambane sings.
The ongoing social media battle between Emtee and his former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, heated after Emtee had trolled the record label asking for his awards and contract back.
While the Ambitiouz Entertainment Twitter account has found a new and more defiant voice, it is clear that they are no match for Black Twitter.

Umlambane took to Twitter at midnight and asked his people to make Emtee’s new record to trend because he will not stand by and watch as Ambitiouz Entertainment, “ruin Emtee’s release in front of us.”
And after the CIC’s call to his devotees, Johustleburg now sits on top of the trends list.
Midnight we doing #Johustleburg Ambitiouz won’t ruin Emtees release infront of us. They calling him a druggie, it’s fine he is our druggie. pic.twitter.com/qSMXWOSfyD

Firstly Ambitiouz was made by Emtee. Roll up was an anthem, the fees from the boys first gigs were put into the label and help built it. Every artist and every award won from Ambitiouz is all thanks to Emtee#Johustleburg pic.twitter.com/gCE0EzdRMH

Emtee has yet to respond to the overwhelming support that he has received from Black Twitter on his social media.
The rapper was last seen on Friday, but after seeing that his single is trending the rapper will probably have some choice words for his former record company again.

Somizi Mohlongo-Motaung clearly had trouble spending time alone on Friday, 8 May 2020. The Woo-Shem personality that was clearly without his husband, Mohale, substituted his absence with social media.
Somizi first shared what he was having for dinner and in true Somizi style, he had a meat platter filled with “tra-la-las.” After dinner, the popular Idols South Africa judge planned to host an adult Instagram Live session with his 3 million followers. continue reading
