Black Coffee has found himself trending on the twitter streets after being called out for being a “hypocrite” after he posted his plans to hold a men’s march against gender-based violence.
Whilst Black Coffee’s idea most likely came from a very good place and with once again violence against women making gruesome headlines, the action is needed in the country, especially from the men of the country but many felt that the popular DJ should first speak out against his associates who have been accused of sexual assault.
Celebrity publicist Bonnie Meslane following the DJ’s march announcement voiced out her issues with the DJ on Twitter in regards. Bonnie was allegedly abused by a former member of Black Coffee’s camp and she alleges to have told the DJ about the said incident but he did nothing about the incident
Bonnie in her tweets alleged that Amaru, during his time as a manager at Soulistic Music, was abusive to her and other people and if he didn’t like the person he would get them fired, she alleges that Black Coffee knew about this.
The DJ has now spoken out about Bonnie’s allegations levelled against Amaru and him, in a series of tweets the DJ gave a timeline of how things transpired between him, Bonnie and Amaru.
In 2016, Bonnie said to have resigned from Black Coffee’s company on grounds that “Amaru was constantly narcistic, emotionally abusive & difficult to work with”[sic].
The DJ then went to explain that he and Amaru in 2018 were involved in a legal dispute and this resulted in Amaru’s employment being terminated.
Comprehension to context is not a strength to a lot of tweeps.Boniswa is not blaming Black Coffee for being raped by Amaru or even going back to work with him, she’s simply saying “Look at the mirror before trying to be a hero.I cried out to you but you did nothing”. That simple..

He went on to start his own Agency in 2018 and the first employee in this Agency was in fact @sisboniswa I don’t have any kind of relationship with Amaru since our 2018 fallout @sisboniswa knows this.I was only made aware of the rape allegations thru social media at this point.
