Interesting facts about Gomora Star Ntobeko Sishi aka Ntokozo

Ntobeko Sishi is a young man with a bright future ahead of him. The 21-year-old actor is one of 2020’s biggest breakout stars. The rising star plays Ntokozo, a young high school boy trying to find his place in the world in Mzansi’s new hit television drama Gomora.

1. Childhood

Ntobeko grew up in Durban, that’s where he developed his love for acting. He started singing at the age of seven – that’s when he realised that he could perform. He later incorporated acting into it.

2. He Holds Two Degrees

The boy is educated, he studied for four years at the University of Cape Town. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in economics and finance and also post-graduate honours in Entrepreneurship. He had good scholarship that allowed me to study economics and finance.

4. Music

Sishi is a versatile musician, his music is mainly RnB. He currently working on new music which plans on releasing very soon. The single he’s dropping is about a relationship and the heartbreak in it. He also plans to release an EP or a mixtape before the end of the year.

He used to be an actor on High Signal on SABC 2.

6. The Plan

Although his passion is in the arts, he thought it would be more beneficial for him to study finance. This allows him to be able to merge two industries and create his own. He believes that the entertainment business is something that hasn’t really been thoroughly done in our country and also around the world and that artists are not placed first. His vision is to create a sustainable industry for African creatives.

7. He wants to inspire

The UCT graduate hopes to continue to be authentic in everything he does, whether it be music or acting.
