Level 3 lockdown: Personal care services reopen for business

From Saturday, South Africans can visit hair salons, get a tattoo, or even a massage. Personal care services are now allowed under Level 3 lockdown.

According to published guidelines you can’t have a drink or a bite to eat during your visit.

Customers can’t have a scalp massage at the basin when at the hairdresser either.

Protective masks are required for close facial contact.

Booking an appointment is strongly encouraged.

Aprons must be washed with soap and water after each customer, and gloves must be changed after each customer too.
