Khumalo’s latest single Empini and the hit Undithatha Kancinci from her previous album, are the theme songs of the show.
“Every day we are going through a war. The message is quite broad in the song, not only from my personal experiences,” Khumalo said.
“As we speak, our country is going through a tough time. We are facing gender-based violence against women and children, and racism.”
She said her album would be released in October, but the pre-orders would be out next month. Empini was written by talented Durban producer and composer Mondli Ngcobo.
