COVID-19: Hospital admissions declining: Health Minister Zweli Mkhize

Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize, says hospital admissions are on the decline. He says no hospital has reached full capacity but warns that it’s still too early to draw any conclusions from this data.

Mhkize says while the COVID-19 numbers are painting a positive picture, it’s still important to take precautions.

He says the wearing of masks, using of sanitisers, and social distancing will help to contain the virus.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization is deploying experts from across the globe to South Africa.
