She grew up in Laudium, an Indian township in the southwest of central Pretoria.

The popular DJ, Lamiez is currently dating Kuli Chana, a South African Motswako rapper.
Rumors have it that she is engaged to the rapper, this rumor came up after a diamond ring was seen on Lamiez’s finger.
In an interview session with Slikour, Khuli Chana talked about his relationship with Lamiez being in the public.
“I think you gonna to find somebody that makes it easy to be yourself, to open up, and to be less fearful.
“I didn’t see it coming but it’s probably the best thing ever because you gonna find somebody who brings out the best in you and that’s kind of what happened,” Khuli shared.
Philanthropy
Aside from her career as a Deejay, she is a businessperson and a philanthropist. She owns a foundation named after her, the Lamiez Holworthy Foundation.
The foundation was established with the purpose of helping orphans.
It serves as a safe house for orphans, abandoned, abused, children living with HIV and those affected.
It also targets learners from ‘disadvantaged and impoverished backgrounds’.
Career
The Deejay has been in the underground for years, in 2013, she decided to show herself to the world after she joined showbiz.
Her mother was supportive and made sure that Lamiez got access to all the required equipment for her DJing career.
In 2013, she was appeared on DJ Malwela’s Show as a guest DJ, in the same year she entered showbiz.
South Africans gave her full support after she secures a regular show on Wednesdays.
Eventually, she got a role in Living the Dream, a lifestyle show on Tshwane TV. She then got “her biggest role” on Live Amp, a SABC show.
