18-year-old declared deceased after allegedly jumping from sixth floor apartment

KwaZulu-Natal: At 22H38 Monday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls at a residential block on Palm Boulevard in Umhlanga Ridge.

Reports from the scene indicate that an 18-year-old male had allegedly jumped from his 6th-floor apartment.

When paramedics arrived on scene they found the patient lying on the floor with polytraumatic injuries.

The patient was assessed however showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased.

Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the Durban North SAPS.
