Bail ruling expected today in Nathaniel Julies case

Three police officers charged in connection with the murder of Eldorado Park teenager, Nathaniel Julies will know if their bail application is successful on Monday.

Protea Magistrate’s Court is expected to make a ruling on their bail applications.

Nathaniel Julies, who had Down syndrome, was shot dead, allegedly by police, last month.

Eldorado Park residents marched to the local police station demanding answers following his murder.

They accuse the police of a cover-up. Two of the suspects have been charged with murder and discharging a firearm in public.

The third suspect is accused of trying to conceal evidence.
