Isibaya actress Asavela Mgqithi pregnancy has set tongues wagging. This follows as the TV star’s recent pictures on Instagram shows her with a flat tummy. One wonders if she has already given birth or it was a publicity stunt because she was pregnant on-screen and she has given birth.

The actress who portrays the character Ntwenhle Ndlovu on Mzansi Magic’s renowned soapie Isibaya was expecting a child on the show with Jabu Zungu played by Pallance Dladla, and they recently welcomed their bundle of joy.

Debuting her pregnancy on the set of the show in May, Asavela said taking her baby to her workplace was scary but, with all the safety precautions that have been put in place to help flatten the curve of Covid-19 on the show, she felt more safer and confident to introduce her baby to the world.

She also cautioned all the soon-to be mothers and mothers to stay safe, healthy and strong in these tough trying times.

Taking you to set was kinda scary but with all the risk assessments the team at Bomb Productions put in place,I feel confident and happy to introduce you to the world.
