The cat is finally out of the bag! After months of speculation that larger-than-life TV star Khanyi Mbau, will launch her very own reality show this year, celebs can reliably confirm that the TV star’s reality show will soon hit our small screens.
Khanyi is proving us that it is raining reality TV shows galore in the entertainment industry with her latest show Mbau Reloaded.
From TV, radio, social media and scandals galore Khanyi is the queen of reinventing herself and never shy’s away from the controversy. Despite her larger than life personality the question is do people know the person beneath the canvas that is a mother, sister, daughter and lover?
Her show will premiere on BET channel 129, on Saturday 10 October 2020, and it promises to be a hit as she will navigate all the factors in her life in the constant search for ultimate Happiness. The controversial media personality is expected to give her legion of fans a glimpse into her glamorous lifestyle and all the drama that surrounds it.
In a trailer she shared on social media yesterday teasing fans with the show, Khanyi can be seen dressed in a stunning white gown and being treated like her majesty, as several men are hard at work transforming her into a stunning queen. Khanyi is then seen stepping outside and going to sit down in a table full on men proving that she is the girl she thinks she is.
Khanyi is currently mourning the death of her father Menzi Mcunu who recently passed on. Menzi was laid to rest this past week and a fan encouraged her to break down because she seemed strong following her loss.
Steel Tsoso tweeted to her, “I saw you grabbing the bull by the horns during your father’s funeral service, I understand that someone had to, but please remember to give yourself time to cry, and break down we all know that you are daddy’s little girl Mina ubabakho I know him ngwawe…you are loved.”,
To which Khanyi responded with, “When that moment comes I will…”.
The once self-proclaimed gold digger has been in the media industry for quite some time. Khanyi shot fame when she bagged the character of Doobsie on Muvhango. The character turned into a household name with a legion of fans, and she is since been able to maintain her relevance in the industry.
The starlet was previously married to Mandla Mthembu until they divorced. Their relationship became the talk of the town as they used to flex their opulence. The former lovebirds have a beautiful daughter together.
Khanyi has always been subjected to scathing remarks from social media users about her affair with her multimillionaire ex-husband Mandla Mthembu and her skin lightening surgeries, but she has learnt to mize negativity.
