Mweb Fibre – your service is poor @MWEBTweets

Mweb Fibre – your service is poor. Impossible to contact you telephonically unless it is a new sale it seems.

Not a happy customer and we have been tossed around from teller to teller. Ordered Mweb Fibre on the 14th August 2020 and nothing happened until 21 September 2020 when an SMS was sent saying your service is Active.

After calling Mweb to say there is no Fibre at the Address we had just moved to, we got a call from Vumatel. There was even a follow-up SMS.

” Good day

The Vumatel maintenance team assigned to Ticket ISP-215313 will be visiting your property on 2020-09-22 at 9:00:00 am to investigate the issue further.

Kind regards – The Vuma Team”

We tried calling Mweb and was put through their technical department which we had to explain to someone the whole thing from when the Fibre was ordered but only to be told we are being transferred to the back office and still got no help.

We called the Billing department after receiving the statement, Billing said they can not cancel a payment only the Sales team can do that. We spoke to a “Samir” in sales who also said he can not change anything and made us hold to speak to a manager. Few minutes without connection he came back to say the manager was busy and he/she would call back. Mweb telesales is only good at only selling the products but do not care about service.

Every telesales person we spoke to sounded like they are trying to get rid of you and pass you to another. The ones you speak to who are willing to help they have no power to change anything.

When you order Mweb Fibre be prepared for bad service before anything is Active. We moved to a new place and there is no Fibre but we are paying Mweb for the Fibre that has not been installed yet. It’s been 48 hours now and still waiting for a Sales Manager from Mweb to give us a call.
