Former Bosasa executive Angelo Agrizzi is expected to appear in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Wednesday morning.
Agrizzi will appear alongside former ANC MP, Vincent Smith. Agrizzi is accused of bribing Smith in the Bosasa debacle.
He has told the State Capture Commission of Inquiry that Smith was paid hundreds of thousands of rands.
Smith says he’ll cooperate with police in a bid to clear his name. He has been charged with fraud and corruption.
Smith allegedly accepted bribes in the form of security upgrades to his home and cash via his company’s bank account.
He stands accused of using his political influence as an MP to shield Bosasa.
