The South African weather service is forecasting a heatwave in some parts of the country for the next two days.
The persistent scorching temperatures will affect Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga, Free State, and parts of the Northern Cape.
People are advised to keep hydrated and limit outdoor activity between 11 am and 3 pm.
