South Africa’s COVID-19 death toll has increased to 18,492. The Health Department has reported 61 more deaths in the last 24 hours.
There have been 1,461 new coronavirus cases in the country, taking the total number of cases to 705,254.
South Africa’s recoveries now stand at 635, 257, which translates to a 90-per cent recovery rate.
