The Health Department reported 1,241 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa, taking the cumulative number of detected infections to over 728,800.
The department also reported 74 more COVID-19 deaths, taking SA’s death toll to 19,539. SA’s COVID-19 recovery rate remains at 90%.
