Bail decision expected today for Shepherd Bushiri and his wife

Self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, his wife Mary, and three others are expected to find out will get bail.

The five appeared in court on Monday and the matter was postponed until Wednesday. They’ve been in custody for almost two weeks.

The five are facing charges of fraud, theft, and money laundering to the value of over R1 million.

The state says the accused will abscond if bail is granted.
