SA COVID-19 cases rise by 1,247

The Health Department confirmed 1,247 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The cumulative number of detected infections is now at 738,525.
The department has also reported 36 new deaths, taking the death toll to almost 20,000. The recovery rate remains high at 92 percent.
