ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule appeared before the party’s integrity commission Saturday.
The former Free State Premier says he wants to clear his name.
There have been growing calls for Magashule to step aside as he’s facing fraud and corruption charges relating to the multimillion-rand Free State asbestos project but he is sticking to his guns, refusing to step aside, saying only branches can decide his fate.
The integrity commission is expected to make a recommendation in the coming days to the party’s National Executive Committee regarding his fate.
