Media personality Bonang Matheba has decided to bring on the festive cheer this morning all over the timeline. If you were waking up to a very dull and monotonous Christmas Eve then Bonang’s words of encouragement will possibly restore one’s faith in the new year.
A handful of our ZAlebs have spoken out about how 2020 has not been that year for many, due to the world wide pandemic and nationwide lockdown which cost many their jobs and livelihoods. Just to give her followers a few smiles, B decided to share a few words of wisdom which also saw her trending for all the right reasons. “I hope 2021 is kinder to you. Seems you’re stronger than you realized.”
B also touched on the matric students of this year who seem to have been hit the hardest. She also had a few words of encouragement to help them get through the tough year, “I hope you pass your exams!”
Although 2020 is a year many wish to forget, Bonang has had quite the year and has been raking it. Moghel has launched her newest offering from her House of BNG range, the BNG Nectar. In a social media post shared on Wednesday, 21 October 2020, the businesswoman stated, “Introducing, my new baby- BNG Nectar!! One of SA’s first true sparkling wines in a can… Get ready to turn ANY location, into an occasion!!”.
The support turned out to be huge as expected, as the media personality announced that her sparkling wine which comes in cans is selling like hotcakes. Her House of BNG also became the biggest selling alcoholic beverage for Woolworths this year.
The radio personality too secured another bag by partnering with the largest mobile network in Africa, MTN, on a new app perfectly titled Bonang Matheba’s World.
Bonang shared the news in a video announcement across her social media pages. “Excited to be joining the MTN Family. 780k strong, & counting…welcome to Bonang’s World…now available on Africa’s Largest Network,” she captioned the funky video announcement.
That’s not all… Bonang also got featured on the line up for Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network With iHeartMedia. To top it all off, Bonang has been honoured by GQ as their “Woman of the Year.” The popular lifestyle magazine held its soiree for 2020’s “Man of the Year” event in the evening.
