LeBron James, who led the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA title in a decade earlier this year, has agreed a two-year contract extension worth $85m (R1.3 billion), opening the possibility of him playing in the league at the same time as his son.
On the other hand, Anthony Davis is expected to sign a new five-year, $190 million (R2.9 billion) contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal also includes an early termination option ahead of the 2024/25 season, the fifth year of the deal.
