Namibia is gearing itself up to receive the much anticipated COVID-19 vaccine.
It has appointed a technical team to look into the logistical requirements of importing the vaccine.
Most vaccine candidates so far need to be stored in very cold conditions.
This makes it difficult for many countries on the continent, that lack the infrastructure needed.
Meanwhile, Egypt took delivery of its first batch of the vaccine last week.
