Boxing icon, Mzimasi Mnguni, will be laid to rest this weekend. The late Bra Mzi has been afforded a Provincial state funeral category two and is set to have two services. The first one will be held this morning at the Presbyterian Church of Southern Africa in Gompo.
The burial service will be held at his home village, eMaZotshweni in Alice tomorrow. Mnguni died last weekend following a long illness. Known as a trainer, promoter and manager, he produced a number of world and national champions in boxing.
