By Friday evening, 100,180 people had been vaccinated under the Sisonke Protocol.
Meanwhile, the number of new COVID-19 infections rose by just over 1,300.
The Health Department confirmed 104 new COVID-19 deaths, taking South Africa’s death toll to 50,566.
