The funeral of the Amabhaca chief, Thandisizwe Diko, will be held at Elundzini Great Place in KwaBhaca in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday morning.
The chief died in an East London hospital last week, following a short illness.
Eastern Cape premier, Oscar Mabuyane, and Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa (Contralesa), Provincial Chairperson Chief, Mwelo Nonkonyane, are among people that are expected to attend the funeral.
Diko was the husband of suspended Presidential spokesperson, Khusela Diko.
His family and Nonkonyana expressed shock at his passing, with the Eastern Cape Contralesa chairperson describing chief Diko as a community developer.
