The health department said 29 more people have died of COVID-19 in South Africa.
This brings the total number to 52,111.
The number of confirmed cases is also up, now 1 537,852.
That’s an increase of 1,051 cases.
The recovery rate stands at 95 percent with over 9.5 million tests conducted so far.
In terms of the vaccine rollout, the number still stands at 182,983.
