The Health Department has reported 931 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa. A total of 66 deaths have been recorded, bringing the death toll to 53,322.
The country’s recovery remains at 95 percent. Meanwhile, South Africa is expecting to receive another batch of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
The 200,000 doses form part of the Sisonke trial which aims to inoculate healthcare workers.
A total of 288, 406 have been administered.
