Some residents in Vereeniging have accused police of having stolen their belongings during a raid.
Police were in the Sedibeng District on Saturday night as part of the SAPS operation O Kae Molao.
The multidisciplinary operation hopes to enforce law and order and Level 1 lockdown regulations.
Gauteng’s Community Safety MEC Faith Mazibuko says the municipality is also involved in the operation.
Meanwhile, police have also arrested undocumented foreigners living in a house in Vereeniging.
Gauteng Provincial Commissioner Elias Mawela says more than 45 people are renting rooms there, for R950 each.
