The outcome of the public sector wage talks at the Bargaining Council is highly anticipated.

The government is reporting back to the unions with hopefully a revised offer as it’s the only option that can prevent a nationwide strike.

Unions want a seven-percent increase but the government wants a wage freeze.

Nehawu’s Deputy General Secretary December Mavuso, says it’s all in the hands of the government.
