The Health Department has reported 2,894 COVID-19 cases.
A total of 30 more COVID-19 related deaths take South Africa’s death toll to 55,802.
SA’s COVID-19 recovery rate is at 94.1 percent.
Meanwhile, phase two of SA’s vaccination rollout is expected to intensify this week as more sites open to administer the jab.
Another batch of Pfizer vaccines arrived over the weekend.
At least one million COVID-19 vaccines have now been delivered to the country.
