Over 3,300 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the country.
The death toll continues to rise, with 151 more people succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.
This brings the cumulative deaths to 55,719.
At least 72 of the latest deaths were recorded in the Free State.
The recovery rate is at 94.2 percent.
