Ace Magashule to challenge suspension in court

Suspended ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule, is taking the party to court to challenge his suspension after he refused to step aside.

The High Court in Johannesburg has set down two days to hear the application.

Magashule was told to step aside as he faces corruption and fraud charges related to the controversial Free State asbestos project.

According to political analyst, Sanusha Naidu, Ace Magashule isn’t going down without a fight.

Magashule insists his suspension and the criminal charges against him are part of a political witch-hunt.
