The stunning actress Asavela Mngqithi who’s popularly known for her acting as Ntwenhle on Isibaya that airs on Mzansi Magic celebrates a huge milestone today. Though she’s known as a curvaceous actress and also has killer dancer moves there are times when she’s made the headlines all for the wrong reasons.
Remember that time when she was said to be allegedly dating a married man? What about that time when a tweep questioned her sexuality? Like seriously. Asavela however has managed to make a name for herself in the industry and despite what anybody says she’s become the actress that many adore.

Let’s just say this came as a shock to many as no one saw it coming. Isibaya actress Asavela was exposed for bagging herself a married businessman. It seems she met the KZN construction mogul at his wedding after the couple invited the Isibaya cast to his wedding.
Allegedly, Asavela’s house and the car she drives were actually the business mogul wife’s that he took away from her and gave to Asavela.
Could this be true and who exposed Asavela?
Being the victim of a crime is one traumatic experience that no one should ever go through, but unfortunately, it does happen to most of us. The actress revealed that she was held at gunpoint and beaten up and all this happened while she was with her family.

Asavela was attacked for her wedding ring. If you hadn’t been watching Isibaya, Asavela who played the role of Ntwenhle got married to her on-screen husband – Dabula (Chris Radebe).
To make matters worse, the robbers broke into her home and they even referred to Asvela by her character’s name. However, although they couldn’t find the ring they were looking for as it belongs to the prop equipment used for the show.
Most celebrities in the industry have been open about their sexuality, but one thing that has been a recurring theme on social media is people being questioned about their sexuality. Asavela seems to have fallen on that radar too and you won’t believe how.
A tweep asked the actress whether she was lesbian or not to which she simply responded by saying: “No, straight AF”
So how did it get to this?
Asavela Mngqithi and soccer star Thamsanqa, fuelled romance rumors with their post on Instagram and they surely got people talking.
This follows after Thamsanqa posted a cute picture of them sitting down with Asavela leaning on him. Although the couple does not look cozy on the snap however the snap fueled the fire.
What set tongues, even more, is the fact that Gabuza opted not to write a caption on the picture.
