KZN teachers line up for COVID-19 jabs – Watch

KwaMashu was the venue for the education sector vaccination launch in KwaZulu-Natal.

Some teachers were anxious about the jab on the arm, but for others, the day could not have come sooner.

The provincial education department says it aims to inoculate 127,000 staff members.

One union — which claims it was not adequately consulted — says more consideration should be given to rural areas.

The education department says it has done the best it could, despite the constraints.
