South Africa has recorded 16,302 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The daily death toll has slightly gone down, with 151 deaths.
Gauteng remains the province with the highest number of cases, with 8,543 people testing positive for the coronavirus in the last day.
The Western Cape recorded 1,945 infections.
KwaZulu-Natal is on just over 1,500 cases.
Mpumalanga and Limpopo are sitting around 1,100 infections and North West is on 957 new cases.
