Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo says former president Jacob Zuma remains in hospital and awaits the doctors’ report.
The arms deal corruption trial was scheduled to be heard on Tuesday in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg.
However, Zuma is still in hospital for medical observation.
There is a possibility that he could remain there.
Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo said, “indeed, we can confirm that Zuma remains in hospital we are waiting to hear fo the doctors when he is likely to be discharged… if he is there tomorrow we will inform the courts that we are unable to bring him before the court… we must inform the court why we are unable to do that.”
