Leroy Gopal (born 6 July 1979 in Harare, Zimbabwe) is a South African television personality. He adds acting and being a voice-over artist to his professional tally.
He boasts of many years of experience in the entertainment industry. He gained ground in the industry in Zimbabwe for being a cast in the film Yellow Card.
South Africa provided him with better acting opportunities and experience. He landed a role in the SABC3 soap opera One Way as Thabang Ngema.

Background
Leroy was born on 6 July 1979 in Harare, the most populous city and the capital of Zimbabwe. From a very tender age, Gopal played football.
His television appearance dates back to when he was 7 years. Then he made his debut in the Zimbabwean television show Paraffin. His mother lives in Zimbabwe.
Leroy Gopal’s father died when he was fourteen years old. He is not the only person in his family in the limelight. Claudia Gopal Mvuti, his sister, held the title of the Iron Woman Zimbabwe.
Education
His parents enrolled him at Budiriro Primary School to lay his foundation in education. He furthered at Glen View High School and Hartzell High School.
After he graduated from high school with his O levels, he studied drama and theatre at Masvingo Catholic College (1995).
He then attended AFDA graduating with a BA (Honours) in live performance and motion picture.
Career
He is best known for his starring role as Thabang Ngema on the SABC3 drama series One Way (2006-2007). He landed his debut leading role in the film-themed Yellow Card (2000).
He was cast as Tiyane Tsumba who got into trouble for trying to get the girls of his dreams.
Earlier in 1996 and 1998, he was cast in the films; Adventure Unlimited and Choose Freedom. Both Christian films had their focus on teenage lifestyles.

He played the role of Oleshe (a starring role) in the SABC1 sitcom Ses’Top La in 2012.
In the next year, he landed another starring role in season 2, episode 1 “Secret Marriage” of the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style.
In 2014, Leroy played another starring of Tongai Nandoro in Ihawu le Sizwe, an SABC1 political thriller.

Leroy is married to a beautiful South African Keletso Molefe. They exchanged their marital vows in 2017. A close friend of theirs took to Instagram to share the news of their wedding.
