The National Institute for Communicable Diseases reported 10,748 new COVID-19 cases.
It has also reported 170 more deaths.
KwaZulu-Natal is still in the grip of the third wave, reporting 3,369 cases.
Meanwhile, the Western Cape is second with 2,336 cases.
