Early Life
Though he hails from a humble beginning, he has managed to grow to stardom. On 10 July 1996, he was born at a private hospital in Surulere, Lagos State.
At his naming ceremony, he was named Imisiola Imisioluwa Ladele and he originates from the Yoruba tribe. He is from Abeokuta, Ogun State, although, he was born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria.
His parents inculcated him with the Christian doctrine since his childhood days. This has been helpful with developing and exhibiting moral values.
However, his love for music dates back to his young days as many big names in the industry influenced him. Although they influenced him, he did not limit to listening to local music alone, he also listened to songs by American artists.
Eventually, he developed a strong interest in music and decided to try it out starting with the genre Afrobeats. He further gained experience being a member of a choir during his days as a teenager.
He sang every week during service, it created exposure for him to refine his voice. It also gained him the experience of how to perform on stage.
Education
His parents tried their best to provide him with the best education they could afford. They registered him at private school for both nursery, primary, and secondary school education.
In 2012, he completed his academic pursuit and graduated with good results which helped him to further. He then enrolled to study Economics at Redeemers University.
In 2016, he graduated with a BSc Degree after his scheduled academic program was complete. After his graduation, he went on a mandatory civil service to serve his fatherland through the National Youth Service Corps program.
After service his fatherland, he returned to Redeemers University for another degree. He obtained an MSc in International Economics and graduated in 2018.
Career
After trying out his writing skills, he was impressed and then decided to convert them to songs. He went to the studio to record them, at that time, he was 16 years old.
In a bid to promote his music profession, he held performances in school events and shows.
He would go back to Lagos during holidays or breaks where he also holds small shows. His influence in music continues to grow and many music lovers enjoyed his songs.
His debut single, Fayagbejo, was dropped in 2017 during his NYSC program. After a year, the Lagos-born artist dropped another hit song titled “X and O“.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 period, he worked on many kinds of music and dropped four songs that received massive airplay. The songs include Most High God, Too Bad, E Go Be, and Erepa.
He announced in March 20201, which was a good development in his music profession. According to him, Ladele signed a record deal with Obimzy Records.
In June 2021, the talented musician dropped the song Nobody and it make waves in the country. Based on stats, we could conclude that his might be his biggest hit to date.
