COVID-19 infections continue to increase.
2,858 new cases have been recorded.
Over 2,300 of those are from Gauteng amounting to over 80-percent of the total new infections.
The Western Cape follows with 148 cases while the Eastern Cape recorded the least with 21.
The positivity rate is edging closer to 10-percent.
Six more people have died, taking the death toll to almost 90,000.
