Johannesburg Mayor Dr. Mpho Phalatse concedes her victory is not necessarily a vote for the DA but rather a vote against the ANC.
Phalatse says the party is realistic about the fact that it’s a minority government. Meanwhile, Phalatse says Eskom can’t be a dominant player in the energy sector in the future.
She says the DA has experience in getting municipalities off of the grid and she will be applying these methods to Johannesburg.
