Eastern Cape pushes COVID-19 jabs at malls

The Eastern Cape government is stepping up its vaccine roll-out, running vaccination pop-ups at shopping centres.

The province has less than 4,000 active cases and almost 300 hospital admissions.

Officials in the province’s health department say they’ll be joining forces with other departments during this festive season to control the spread of the virus.

eNCA’s Nceba Ntlanganiso spoke to the Eastern Cape’s Deputy Director-General for health at a vaccination pop-up site.
