Seasoned actor Israel Matseke-Zulu, who played Don on Gomora, has gone public since he allegedly had his right leg amputated following his struggle with gangrene.
Matseke-Zulu recently (28 December) celebrated his birthday publicly with his family and industry friends.
ISRAEL MATSEKE-ZULU LEG OPERATION
Gomora‘s Israel Matseke-Zulu was recently spotted celebrating his birthday since he allegedly had his right leg amputated due to gangrene.
The actor confirmed he had to exit the popular telenovela in October due to the illness.
Sunday World reported that the multi-award-winning actor had his right leg amputated.
A source close to the star said that he had an operation at a Sandton hospital in November.
Matseke-Zulu who’s been open about his struggle said he was struggling to get around on set and was using a wheelchair during his last scenes.
The publication also added that Matseke-Zulu spoke to them on Friday (10 December) and confirmed the operation on his right leg.
He also said he was recovering from the surgery, and he is surrounded by his loved ones at home.
