Manchester United has announced that Paul Pogba will depart the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Pogba joined United from French club Le Havre in 2009 and scored 39 goals in 233 first-team games.
After playing a major role in the FA Youth Cup-winning team in 2011, the midfielder joined Juventus the following year and went on to earn a slew of medals in Turin.
The team sent out a farewell message on social media where they said “wishing you the best for your next step!”
A vital contribution from @PaulPogba, just when we needed it 👊

“For a boy that joined the Academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances and lift the Youth Cup, along with two major pieces of silverware – not to mention the World Cup at the international level – is something that should be applauded and celebrated,”
“Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career and thank him for his contributions to Manchester United.
