Just in time for Youth Month: Entrepreneur and Bathu founder Theo Baloyi has been named Young Business Leader of the Year by Forbes Africa and CNBC Africa.
Theo Baloyi, who started off selling perfumes in the streets of Alex expresses gratitude for the acknowledgment.
He says the accolade “is a true testament of our vision to build a shoe brand that Africans can proudly affiliate with.”
Theo and his team aim “to reignite hope and ignite the spirit of many African hopefuls who look to start or continue their own personal journey to success.”
He adds: “We are truly humbled by the opportunity to make a difference within the communities we serve. To bridge the gap of unemployment within the Youth segment and bring about sustainable change in South Africa.”
