Siphiwe Tshabalala and YeYe Letsholonyane are returning to Kaizer Chiefs

Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane and Siphiwe “Shabba” Tshabalala, two of Kaizer Chiefs’ previous heroes, will reportedly be making a return to Naturena.

According to reports both Yeye and Shabba will reportedly be reinstated to their positions in the Amakhosi development levels.

Yeye will be the team manager and Yeye will coach the club’s DStv Diski Challenge team.

Shabba moved from Amakhosi to the Turkish team BB Erzurumpspor. However, the club’s financial troubles caused him to leave early.

Upon his return, he joined AmaZulu FC but abruptly left them following a falling out with the Usuthu coach Benni McCarthy at the time.

According to Soccer Laduma, the return of the two players is indeed happening.

“As part of a shake-up at the Kaizer Chiefs Village, the Siya crew has been informed that the club are stepping up the ante and are in advanced talks to bring former star duo Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala back to the club,”

“Sources have indicated that Chiefs are understood to have been offered the role plan to rope in the club’s former poster of team manager, which stems from the club’s DStv Diski Challenge team, down to the rest of the Gauteng Development League teams,” Soccer Laduma reported in their recent edition.
