After beating Royal AM 1-0 in their fourth DStv Premiership match of the 2022/23 season on Wednesday night, Orlando Pirates fans are now trolling Mama Joy Chauke.
After many years supporting the Ghost, the flamboyant football supporter ditched the Soweto giants last year in favour of the Durban-based club owned by the rich Shauwn Mkhize.
In a viral video that is circulating on social media and posted by Barry Roux, many Buccaneers fans are now laughing at the woman from Soweto.
Chauke is one of the most recognised supporters and has always been on television either supporting Bafana Bafana, Banyana, or Thwihli Thwala, but it seems she is a social media joke now.
The Soweto giants netted through Deon Hotto and Chauke was seen at Moses Mabhida Stadium signalling that they are coming back to level the matters, but it was not meant to be as they lost the match.
Speaking after the match, coach Jose Riveiro praised his solid defence as they managed to contain the fast-paced Royal AM attackers.
“We had a lot of positive things tonight, very professional performance but I think our defence tonight was incredible,” he told Supersport TV.
“I wasn’t happy with the way we handle the ball whenever we were in possession, we should have kept the ball more but even with us defending in a low block, I don’t remember any clear-cut chances created by a side as dangerous as Royal AM so credit must go to everyone today.”

Up next for the former African champions is a clash against SuperSport United on Sunday and they will be gunning for their third win of the season as they have secured two, a draw, and a single defeat so far.
