Anatii is making a comeback and will headline the ‘Cotton Fest’ Cape Town leg

Cotton Fest will kick off the holiday season with over 50 of South Africa’s hottest known and emerging hip hop and amapiano headliners talent and artists from both Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Anatii, the producer extraordinaire, is back and will headline the Cape Town leg of the festival, fresh off the release of his album. This will be a treat for fans because the artist hasn’t performed on stage in quite some time.

Capetonians are getting excited for the festival, which will take place on December 10 at Paarden Eiland Park, with 60% of tickets already sold out.

One emerging Cape Town artist will be chosen from the Open Mic Night competition to perform at the festival next month. Entries are limited to the first 100, with one winner announced just before the show.

After receiving over 320 entries in less than 24 hours, a qualified faculty will choose the winner, who will then perform live at the festival alongside local favourites Youngsta CPT, Dee Koala, KashCPT, and Ready D.

Blxckie, A-Reece, Moozlie, Robot Boii, Pabi Cooper, and Felo Le Tee are among those who will be joining them.

Bravo Le Roux, K.Keed, and Holy Alpha are examples of rising local talent.

Cotton Fest was founded by the late artist Riky Rick and has since evolved into a platform for showcasing the diversity of popular music genres as well as lifestyle elements that exist within the “culture,” such as fashion and sport.
