Controversial socialite and dancer Zodwa Wabantu has reaffirmed her admiration for South African rapper Cassper Nyovest as she headed to social media.
Zodwa is seen kneeling down as she greeted Cassper at an event and the dancer from KwaZulu-Natal says the rapper is always humble.
Heading to her Instagram timeline, Zodwa shared a photo of herself kneeling before the rapper, Nyovest, and captioned the post ”humbleness is the price”.
In a recent follow-up interview with TshisaLIVE, the reality star, Zodwa, said the picture was taken in Menlyn where she, Cassper, and Makhadzi were performing over the weekend.
Quizzed on why decided to kneel before Cassper and what it is about him that made her appreciate him, she said the rapper and businessman has always been respectful towards her since the beginning of her career.
The well-known dancer, Zodwa, expressed that she took a liking to Cassper’s work ethic and he inspires her to expand her horizons
“He has been a cool guy since I’ve been Zodwa Wabantu. I get the same attitude, I get the same respect, and the same greetings. He can’t pass you even if we are not sharing the same table,” she responded.
“He leaves his table to come and greet me. Last time we were booked in Durban together and we shared the same flights. We’ve always been cool when it comes to work.
“He goes after his dreams. He makes new trends and businesses.
“He doesn’t wait for a hit song or relies on the brand as a musician. He does other ventures and businesses as a go-getter. He is from the street. He is like me definitely, that’s why maybe we understand each other.”
In a recent post covered by Entertainment SA, this website reported that Zodwa was not having it after the Malawian government decided to decline her performance in the country.
The star was all over social media after she was stopped from performing at a show she was booked at in Blantyre due to the nature of her performances.
According to them, it is a “morally degrading stage acts”. However, Zodwa is supposed to perform at the Winter Amapiano Vibes concert on 10 June at Dominics Hotel in Blantyre but it will not be happening again.
